Hitomi Brown, National Player and Coach, Training At Blaze!!

Blaze is proud to announce Hitomi Brown, current 16u Coach, agrees to train our players at Blaze!  Hitomi is currently our 16u Coach this past year and is doing amazing job. 

Hitomi has over 20 years of competitive softball experience.  Hitomi played professionally for Japan Softball Association, was head coach of Japan Regional team in championship 2012, Played for Japan Junior Olympic team, and was best catcher of the year in high school.  Hitomi has played and coached from High School levels all the way up to National level.  In 2008 to 2010 Hitomi was assistant director at Okinawa Japan Sports association.  While playing softball Hitomi also earned her Bachelors Degree in Physical Education.  Hitomi reloacted to Michigan in 2017 with her husband Nick and started her coaching here by coaching Blaze 16u A team.  Under her guidance this team has learned so much.  Hitomi still stays in touch with her Japan coaches and mentors and brings what she learns from them, even today, to the softball fields for all to learn from.
